INTERACTIVE CASE STUDY & WALKTHROUGH VIDEO

NOTE. The original text content has been changed for confidentiality and copyright purposes

One of the world’s leading fashion brands was participating in a workshop and they needed an interactive case study and intro video to provide context for the activities within the workshop. My responsibilities were to design and illustrate program materials connected the workshop and to create the intro video and case study. The fashion company gave permission to use footage from their existing commercials in the intro video. My responsibilities with creating the video included editing, voice-overs, custom motion graphics (outside of the original commercial footage) and sound-mixing.

The video above shows a snapshot of the interactive case study, which was built in PowerPoint, the illustrations were done in Photoshop and the videos set up in Premiere Pro.

Client Journey slide

There were a series of presentation materials put together as part of the original pitch. I was responsible for designing the slides for the presentations. The journey slide above includes hand-drawn illustrations and custom icons which were inspired by the ‘Impossible is Nothing story commercials where hand-drawn animations were used to tell the success stories of the athletes in the commercials.

The shoe illustration in the centre was done as a way to pay homage to the classic shoe designs by this company which have stood the test of time.

I wanted to use this layout as a way to display the strong history of the brand and how this programme journey would help maintain and build on the company’s legacy.

Simulation/Workshop explanation slide

The programme that was being presented required participants from the business to take part in a simulation. This involved running a business, very similar to the client’s business in a fictional world where, participants were split into teams and had to compete to be the most successful team within the simulation arena.

I wanted to bring a futuristic, gamified tone to the presentation slides that showed the purpose of our workshop in a style that had a similar feel to that of a sports game menu on a console.

The intention here was, to reflect the competitive nature of the client’s brand and the competitive arenas that their customers operate in. The platform segments represent the key stages in the client’s journey using a platform-game aesthetic with a modern twist.
